Neon Moon Spooktacular is coming to Downtown Sharon!
Families are invited to join us for a FREE community event along the Shenango River on Saturday, October 10, from 3 PM-9 PM.
There will be something for the whole family to enjoy, including:
🎃 The Great Pumpkin Glow-Off – Bring a carved pumpkin and enter our FREE People’s Choice pumpkin contest for a chance to win one of three prizes! Registration is required.
👻 Spooky Kids Zone – FREE children’s activities from 3 PM–7 PM.
🛍️ Neon Night Market – Shop local vendors, makers, and small businesses.
🍴 Haunted Food Court – Grab dinner or a treat from participating food vendors.
🎵 Moonlight Stage – Enjoy activities and entertainment throughout the event.
🌊 River of Light Show – Stick around as the Shenango River lights up after dark for a special Neon Moon experience!

Winter sports season is just around the corner, we wanted to inform you about our elementary basketball program for girls in grades third through six. The structure of the program will be the same as previous years & consist of 3rd-6th grade girls from all the elementary schools in Sharon City School District. All coaches have successfully completed the same clearance check procedures as the teachers in the district.
The focus of our league is instruction of fundamental basketball concepts, teamwork & skill development. Our practices provide all players with the opportunity to improve from the beginning of the season to the end & each player will have the opportunity to execute their learned skills in game situations. While we keep scores, our league focus is for the players to improve throughout the season. Based on experience, those players that adhere to this concept will unquestionably improve their skills on the courts.

Glass Card is a digital discount card that lives on your phone, so supporters always have it with them (no more lost paper coupons!).
Our cards feature exclusive deals from local businesses who have agreed to sponsor our fundraiser. We’re launching this year with 10 discounts and together with Glass Card we have a goal to grow this list of discounts and business sponsors to over 100 in future years.
Bonus: Through the app, supporters (your friends and family) can also access deals from other fundraisers around the country. That said, Glass Card recommends focusing mostly on local sales since these discounts were the focus for our school and Glass Card does not have discounts in every city in America.

The Sharon Girls Basketball Program is excited to host its 2nd Annual Summer Youth Basketball Camp on June 9 - June 11.
This camp is open to any girls entering Kindergarten through 6th grade and is designed to be a fun and engaging way to learn the fundamentals of basketball. Campers will get to learn basketball skills and fundamentals from our varsity, middle school, and elementary coaches. Current middle school and varsity players will also be present throughout the camp to provide support and assistance.
